ICAM Lead Investigator
Workplace Health and Safety
Course Overview
The ICAM Lead Investigator course is provided in association with Edith Cowan University.
In this course we will guide you through our incident investigators toolbox, the ICAM analysis process and how to communicate the investigation findings.
This course is ideal for those employees who will form part of the incident investigation team, including managers and supervisors. This course provides the underpinning knowledge and necessary skills required to undertake and lead an incident investigation.
The main objective of an investigation is to prevent the incident from happening again. The way the investigation is carried out depends on the seriousness and complexity of the incident.
Findings and recommendations from the investigation must be based on conclusions derived from the information and evidence collected during the investigation.
For the investigation to be successful it is necessary to establish the events that led up to the incident, the facts of the incident itself and the facts regarding what occurred immediately after the incident.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to;
Collect evidence
Evaluate information
